Parts Professional
Ferri Equipment is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Parts Professional to manage parts inventory, process orders, and support our service and sales teams. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and teamwork. We’re seeking a self-starter who can work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks, and grow into a skilled parts specialist.
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and stock parts for our rental fleet and customer equipment.
- Look up and source parts using manufacturer catalogs, part numbers, and computer-based inventory systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts, bin locations, and stock levels.
- Process parts orders, returns, and warranty claims, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with parts orders and inventory.
- Coordinate with the Service Manager and technicians to ensure the right parts are on hand for repairs.
- Prioritize orders and ensure the parts department is maintained in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and customers as needed to source parts and resolve order issues.
- Exhibit positive and effective interaction with customers, fellow employees, and equipment manufacturers.
- Uphold safety practices and standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous parts, inventory, or equipment experience preferred, but strong organizational aptitude required.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using computer-based inventory and ordering systems.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Light to moderate lifting is required.
